This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a 1954 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 95% - This barrel has some finish wear at the muzzle and a couple of small rubs.
Metal - This barrel is in very good condition, but with some shallow scratches.
Bore - With almost no throat wear and only a few shallow pits, we rate this bore as a 9 out of 10. The rifling is bright and smooth throughout the length of the barrel. Borescope verified.
