This is a .30-06 Springfield standard barrel from a Model 70 rifle. The barrel is undated and has no front ramp. Note - this is not a barrel from a special order sightless rifle - at one point it had a front sight ramp and it still has the dovetail for the rear sight. There are no visible marks remaining from the front sight ramp. The barrel has been professionally reblued by the Pre64 team.
Bluing and Metal - Both the metal and the finish are in near-perfect (refinished) condition. The bluing is dark and even without any wear and the metal has no scratches, dings, freckling or other damage or wear.
Bore - 10/10 - The bore has no discernable wear or pitting, resulting in a rating of 10 out of 10. Borescope verified.
