This is a Winchester model 70 standard rifle chambered in .30-06 manufactured in 1959. The bolt and receiver are both marked with serial number 446921.
The metal has original finishes and grades 95%. There is minimal wear on the rails, at the muzzle, and on the bolt components. The are no noteworthy dings, gouges, blemishes or other problems.
The Monte Carlo stock is in very good condition with an original finish and hard rubber buttplate. It has no splits, cracks, or stains but there is some light handling wear and a few spots of flaking in the finish. The stock has not been bedded, shortened or otherwise modified. The checkering is in very good condition.
The bore has no notable pits and almost no wear. We rate it as a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
