This is an extremely high-condition .30-06 Springfield Standard rifle made in 1963. It is in the original factory configuration with original finishes. It grades at NRA excellent, approaching perfect condition.
The metal finishes are excellent throughout, with bluing grading at better than 95%. The factory bluing contains minor edge wear around the muzzle and sight hood, a few light scratches along the barrel and some handling marks on the bottom metal. Aside from these slight cosmetic flaws, the bluing is dark and even throughout.
The bore of the 24" barrel contains no notable heat damage, pitting, or wear, with very little evidence of use. It is in excellent condition. We grade it a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified. The bolt is correct with serial number present and matched to the receiver.
The original stock is in exquisite condition. There are no handling marks, cracks, chips, stains, bedding or other issues. The checkering has no blemishes and is crisp and well defined. The factory buttplate is present with no noted wear.
