This is a .30-06 standard barrel from a 1946 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 90% - This barrel shows limited wear, mostly at the muzzle, from the rear sight, and a few small rubs. The bluing is generally dark and even.
Metal - Overall, this barrel is in excellent condition, with just a couple pin-head sixed dings and a few very light scratches.
Bore - 9/10 - With almost no throat wear and no pitting, the bore rates a 9 out of 10 under borescope examination.
