This is a .30-06 standard barrel from a 1949 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing and Metal - This barrel has some finish wear at the muzzle and from the rear sight, along with a few small spots of freckling. There are no deep pits, dings, or other metal damage. The bluing is generally dark.
Bore - 8/10 - With no throat wear but some shallow pits, the bore rates an 8 out of 10 under borescope examination.
