This is a .30-06 standard rifle produced in 1941. It is a beautiful rifle grading in NRA very good condition.
This rifle has the original factory rust bluing on the receiver and barrel, grading at 90% with light wear and a few small scratches.
The bore of the 24" barrel is in very good condition and grades a 8 out of 10; borescope verified. There is almost no wear, but some light pitting throughout the length of the bore. This rifles was probably carried in the field a fair amount, but rarely shot.
The stock has what appears to be the original finish. The are several light marks in the wood from handling and use, but no notable cracks, damage or repairs. The factory steel buttplate is intact and shows bluing wear. The checkering is crisp, in very good condition, with no notable blemishes.
The rear bridge on the receiver remains undrilled. All parts appears to be completely original to this rifle and the bolt is serial number matched to the receiver. This is a proper and cataloged Winchester configuration.
