This pristine .300 H&H Magnum Sporter rifle was produced in 1954. It is a high condition rifle with all original finishes and no modifications. The rifle grades in NRA excellent, approaching perfect condition.
The metal grades at 98%+ with all original bluing which is smooth and even, with no notable blemishes or wear except for some minor scratches on the buttplate.
The gorgeous monte carlo stock retains its original finish and steel buttplate, with no modifications or significant damages. The checkering is clean and crisp, with the exception of 1 tiny gouge in the checkering on the right side. Other than a few very minor handling marks on the stock, this rifle displays virtually no other imperfections.
The bore of the 26" barrel appears to have never been fired, rating a 10 out of 10. Boroscope verified.
All parts are correct and appear to be original to the rifle. The bolt is serial number matched to the receiver.
