This is an early .308 Winchester Featherweight rifle, produced in 1952 (1st year of production). This rifle grades in NRA very good to excellent condition.
This rifle has all original bluing, grading at 90%, with the only notable wear on the rear bridge and a spot on the bolt handle. The aluminum floorplate has some light fading in the anodization. The metal is in very good to excellent condition with a few very small (pinhead size) dings in the barrel.
The bore of the 22" barrel is in excellent condition, rating a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The stock appears to have an original finish in very good condition. There are light signs of wear but no significant gouges, dents, or cracks. The checkering is original with just a little flattening in the pistol grip area. The factory aluminum buttplate is also intact and in very good condition, with just some light finish wear.
