This is a beautiful .375 H&H model 70 rifle was produced in 1951. This is a high-condition rifle which has been upgraded with a Timney trigger. The receiver is marked with serial number 194326, but the bolt serial number seems to be polished off. It grades in NRA very good condition.
The bore of the 25" medium contour barrel is in excellent condition with no notable wear and just a few scattered pits. We rate it as a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The original low comb stock retains its factory recoil pad and is in very good condition with very light handling wear. There are no other repairs or modifications to the stock. The checkering has a few dings but is otherwise sharp and crisp.
The bluing is rated at 90% with wear on the bolt components, near the muzzle, and on the rails. There is some fading on the receiver and bottom metal. There is a notable ding in the barrel and a few shallow scratches in various places.
