This .375 H&H model 70 rifle was produced in 1955. Both the bolt and receiver are marked with serial number 350587.
The bore of the 25" medium contour barrel is in excellent condition with only minor wear. We rate it a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The Monte Carlo stock was previously refinished but has sustained some wear since then. It is fitted with a reproduction Winchester recoil pad and has a length of pull of 13&5/8". The stock has handling marks, including some shallow dings, but no splits, cracks, or other damage. The stock was previously bedded and the bedding is solidly bonded to the stock. The checkering is in excellent condition.
The metal appears to have been reblued and is in excellent condition without notable wear. There are a few pin head sized dings, but no other notable damage or defects.
