This .375 H&H model 70 rifle was produced in 1958. The receiver is marked with serial number 433496 but the bolt has been refinished and the serial number was polished off during that process.
The bore of the 25" medium contour barrel is in excellent condition. We rate it a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The Monte Carlo refinished stock has been previously refinished but appears like an original finish and it retains the factory recoil pad. There is very light handling wear but no notable dings, dents, splits, cracks, or other damage. The original checkering has notable wear - flattening of the points.
The metal finishes are generally in excellent condition with just a very few small scratches and small spots of rust on the recoil lug. The bolt shaft and extractor have been refinished by the pre64 team. There are no other notable dings, rust, or other damage in the metal.
