This is a rare .375 H&H Magnum sightless model 70 rifle produced in 1961. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 536872. The rifle is in NRA excellent condition.
The original bluing on this rifle grades at 95%, showing almost no wear except slight wear on the bolt components and the receiver rails. There is some slight freckling on the trigger guard. There are no dings in the metal.
The bore has very minor pitting and throat wear, reducing the rating to a 9 out of 10. Borescope verified.
The Monte Carlo stock has an original finish. There is light handling wear but no significant gouges, cracks, dents, or oil stains. The original checkering is particularly clean and crisp with one small ding in the left front panel. The original Winchester recoil pad is pliable; in very good condition.
