This is a Type-III bolt housing with a face for standard cartridges.
Handle bluing - The handle has been re-blued and is in excellent condition.
Metal - The bolt body has been polished and in very good condition. There is a series of scratches (tooling marks?) - see pictures. The serial number is only partially visible.

NOTE: While model 70 bolts may appear to be interchangeable, to safely replace the bolt in a rifle requires the action to be checked for proper headspacing and lug seating. This is a simple procedure which can be performed in a matter of minutes by a qualified gunsmith.
