This is a type-II bolt housing for standard caliber rifles. It has been reblued and polished.
Handle bluing - Reblued - This dark bluing is not the original finish.
Metal - This bolt is in excellent overall condition. The body has been polished. There are no notable scratches, nicks, or other marks of damage on the bolt shaft or face.

NOTE: While model 70 bolts may appear to be interchangeable, to safely replace the bolt in a rifle requires the action to be checked for proper headspacing and lug seating. This is a simple procedure which can be performed in a matter of minutes by a qualified gunsmith.
