This is a complete H&H magnum action (Group VII; .300 & .375 H&H Magnum). The metal is in excellent condition, but the finish is worn so we have dropped the price. This action is a great starting point for a custom build that will be refinished. Both the bolt and receiver are marked with the serial number 494867, indicating they were manufactured in 1960.
Overall, the metal on this action is in excellent condition. There are a few small, shallow, scratches on the bottom metal, but no other significant dings, scratches, or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver. The finish is worn, especially on the top of the receiver. The bottom metal has some edge wear.
