The Winchester 103C front sight began to appear on standard rifles in 1941, replacing the Lyman 31W. The 103C was used as the front sight on all model 70s until 1963, the only exceptions being the Super Grade and Marksman rifles.
This 0.310” high sight is correct for Standard rifles.
