This is a beautiful custom stock made for a pre-war standard rifle. It is inlet for the cloverleaf style tang and will fit any standard rifle receiver produced between 1936 and 1948. The barrel channel is a custom contour.
This stock is excellently crafted with the following features:
- Diamond-shaped checkering with fluers
- Contrasting forearm tip
- Grip cap with diamond inlay
- Decelerator recoil pad
- small sling swivel bases
- Cheek rest
This stock is in pristine condition with no cracks, chips, dents, gouges, oil stains, scratches, or any notable cosmetic flaws. The Decelerator pad is soft and pliable. It has previously been bedded, and this bedding may need to be slightly relieved in order to fit a different receiver. The barrel channel also may need to be modified to receive its next barrel. The length of pull is standard, at 13-5/8".
