This is a featherweight aluminum floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The finish appears original in excellent condition.
Bluing - 90% - The finish is mostly dark with a few superficial scratches and scuffs to the finish. Factory featherweight bottom metal came in many shades of black/gray. This piece is quite dark black.
Metal - The metal is in very good condition with no significant damage. Light scratches penetrate the finish.
