This is an original floor plate from a featherweight Winchester Model 70 rifle. It has been professionally refinished with Cerakote, in color Midnight Blue.
Finish - 100% - The new finish on this floor plate is smooth, dark and even, with no scratches or fading. However, there is one area at the end of the hinge tab where the finish appears rough, as if the metal beneath the cerekote is not smooth. Please see photos.
Metal - The metal on this piece is in excellent condition. The only imperfect area is the tip of the hinge tab where there appears to be roughness beneath the new finish.
