This is a standard steel floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The underside shows the signature triangle-dash proof mark of a pre-war floor plate.
Bluing - Refinished - This part appears to be refinished. There is no edgewear or fading to the new finish, however, some light scratches and freckling can be seen, especially on and around the hinge tab.
Metal - The metal appears in excellent condition with a few light scratches beneath the bluing.
