This is a standard steel floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The underside shows the signature triangle-dash proof mark of a pre-war floor plate.
Bluing - Refinished - The new bluing on this piece is dark and even. There is no edgewear or fading, however a few tiny freckles can be seen beneath the new bluing.
Metal - The metal appears in excellent condition with no notable damage.
