This is a standard steel floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. The underside shows the signature triangle-dash proof mark of a pre-war floor plate.
Bluing - 70% - This floor plate retains its original factory finish. There is not a great deal of edgewear or fading to the bluing, but there are many scratches and tool marks throughout the plate. There is no freckling or rust pitting.
Metal - The metal remains in NRA good condition, with no rust, dents or gouges, but many scratches and tool marks.
