This is a standard steel floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. It appears this floor plate has been refinished in rust-blue, though not in our shop. This floor plate lacks the signature triangle-dash proof mark found on the bottom side of pre-war floor plates, so we believe it to be a post-war part that is refinished with rust-bluing.
Bluing - 90% - The finish shows mild edge wear. There are some small inconsistencies in the bluing and a few light scratches.
Metal - A few light scratches, otherwise no pitting or other defects in the metal.
