This is a standard steel floor plate from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. It appears to have been refinished, though not in the pre64win.com shop.
Bluing - Refinished. The new finish on this floor plate is particularly shiny and smooth. Although there is no edgewear or fading, there are noticeable imperfections to the finish, that look like spots, scratches, or other marks.
Metal - The metal is in very good condition, with 1 small area of light pitting or freckling that is covered by the new finish.
