This is a Super Grade steel floor plate from a post-1964 Winchester Model 70 rifle. It appears to be modified and to have an older refinish. None of this work has been done in our shop.
Bluing - 95%- The bluing on this floor plate shows no edgewear or fading, except for some wear on the hinge tab. There are no deep scratches, pits or other significant damage, only very light scratches and wear to the finish surface. The hinge tab appears to have been shaved down to a thinner profile. There are also a few deeper scratches visible on the hinge tab.
Metal - The metal remains in excellent condition with no notable damage.
