This magnum magazine box was designed for use with what Winchester called the "short magnum cartridge" rifles; .264 Win Mag, .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag, and 458 Win Mag. These are not to be confused with today's "WSM" and "WSSM" cartridges.
The original boxes are used in very good to excellent condition.
The reproduction boxes are modern manufacture, new boxes. These boxes fit slightly tighter in the receiver than most original boxes and may require tapping them into place with a soft mallet.
