This is a Leupold Plainsman 2-1/4x scope with a Leupold multiplier objective lens which increases the magnification to 8x. The scope has unique internal windage and elevation adjustments inside of its' 7/8" tube. Also included are metal scope covers.
This scope is in very good to excellent overall condition. There are a few minor scratches and fading in the finish, but no significant metal damage. The optics are amazingly clear, especially considering the vintage of the scope. It has a fine crosshair reticle. The scope is marked "Leupold & Stevens Instruments, Portland Oregon, Patent Pending". The adjustment dials turn easily and lock into place.
The covers are also in very good to excellent condition and are marked "Leupold & Stevens Instruments, Portland Oregon".
