Complete Leupold STD base set for use with Leupold or Redfield style rings. These bases fit post-war model 70 rifles (serial number 66,350 and higher), except H&H magnum.
These STD bases are available in 4 models:
- 50020 - Standard in gloss blued finish
- 50021 - Standard in matte black finish
- 50022 - Extended in gloss blued finish
- 50023 - Extended in matte black finish
The STD "extended bases" can be used to accommodate scopes where the length of the tube between the objective and the eyepiece (dimension B in the Leupold diagram) is too short for the model 70 receiver. This is a common problem with adjustable power scopes due to the shorter tube length and the length of the pre-64 model 70 receiver.
Most bases are new in the factory packaging. Any used bases have been graded in NRA excellent condition.
