This is an aftermarket cartridge follower for a .22 Hornet rifle.
Many of the .22 Hornet followers that come through our shop suffer from the same factory defect: a weak spring tab that easily breaks off. This machined follower looks to remedy that problem with a stronger spring tab that is significantly less prone to breaking off. The piece fits and functions identically to the factory product.
As a machined part, this follower ships in new/unused condition.
