This is a matched receiver and bolt body from a 1953 H&H magnum rifle, for the .300 and .375 H&H magnum cartridges. The receiver and bolt are both marked with serial number 246667. The marking on the bolt is only partially readable.
The receiver has been previously polished and re-blued. The bolt handle has been sanded, with all the bluing removed. There is no damage or other modifications to either piece.
