This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1951 H&H magnum rifle (.300 H&H and .375 H&H). There is a Griffin & Howes scope mount system with 1" rings installed. This system allows for the quick removal and reinstallation of a scope without the loss of zero. Overall, this set is in very good condition.
Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition. The bluing is original, with some fading and light wear. There are no notable scratches, dings or other metal damage. There are no holes or modifications to the receiver aside from the installation of the scope mount.
Bolt Body - The bolt body is in very good condition. The bolt handle has discoloration and bluing wear. The bolt body has discoloration and scratches. The serial number is faint but matches the receiver.
Scope Mount - In very good condition. The attaching screws have worn slots but there is no other damage to the metal.
