This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1962 short magnum rifle.  Both pieces are marked with the serial number 551592.

Receiver - Overall, this receiver is in very good condition.  The original bluing shows light signs of wear throughout the piece.  There is some bluing loss on the recoil lug, but the balance of the receiver is unblemished.  There are no significant scratches, nicks or other forms of metal damage on the receiver.  No holes or modifications have been added to the piece.

Bolt Body - Overall, this bolt body is in very good condition.  The bolt handle shows notable fading and bluing loss, particularly on the bolt knob.  The bolt body itself has no significant scratches, nicks, or other forms of metal damage on the piece.
