This is a matching receiver and bolt body pair from a 1954 standard rifle. Both pieces are marked with the serial number 291304 and both have the original finish.
Receiver - The receiver bluing is original, showing wear on the rails and tang. There are some marks on the rear bridge from a scope mount. There are no notable dings or other metal damage. There are no extra holes or modifications to the receiver.
Bolt - The bolt body has no notable damage; the bolt handle has some fading and a worn spot.
