This unique Winchester stock is originally from a .300 H&H magnum rifle produced between 1950 and 1951. It has the cloverleaf tang of pre-war rifles, which were produced on H&H magnums through 1951. The grip cap is the oval/extended style, introduced in 1950. This stock will fit all .300 H&H rifles with the pre-war cloverleaf tang.
This stock is in pristine condition, with no cracks, chips, splits, gouges, repairs, or modifications. It has likely been professionally refinished at some point in the past. The finish is smooth and even with no deep scratches or notable damage, but a few tiny imperfections or handling marks. The most notable flaw is a small nick in the wood at the tang. Please see photos. The original steel buttplate is in perfect refinished condition with no damage or bluing loss. The 1" swivels are included, also in excellent condition. The checkering on this stock remains sharp and clean. The length of pull is standard at 13-1/2". Overall, this is an extremely high-condition, nearly perfect, hard to find stock.
