This is a receiver and bolt body pair from a 1939 H&H magnum rifle. This receiver is the correct size for the .300 H&H magnum and .375 H&H magnum cartridges. There is no serial number on the bolt. The rear bridge has been drilled for a scope base, and one hole is slightly off center. The front ring has been drilled with an extra hole; see pictures. The bolt handle has been re-blued.
Aside from the modifications, this receiver and bolt appear to be in very good condition without notable damage or defects. We have made every effort to show the condition in the photographs, but please contact us with any questions.
We use the NRA Modern Gun Condition Standards Grading System for grading part conditions. You can read about it HERE
NOTE: Laws governing transfer of firearms require that receivers be shipped to an FFL holder. If you do not hold an FFL or C&R license, you will need to enlist the services of an FFL to complete the transfer. If needed, we are happy to assist you in locating an FFL holder near you who can complete the transfer on your end.
