This is a standard receiver from a 195 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 196971. Four extra holes have been drilled in the side of the receiver for a scope mount. There is no other damage to the receiver; there is no discoloration, dings, pitting or freckling. This receiver may have been previously refinished and possibly had the face trued.

NOTE: Laws governing transfer of firearms require that receivers be shipped to an FFL holder. If you do not hold an FFL or C&R license, you will need to enlist the services of an FFL to complete the transfer.
