This is an standard receiver from a 1953 Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 90% - This receiver shows minor signs of bluing wear. The bluing is worn and faded in multiple areas throughout the receiver, and there are some small spots of bluing freckling along the underside of the piece.
Metal - This receiver is in very good overall condition. There are some very minor scratches and nicks, buy no significant metal damage.
The rear bridge of the receiver has been drilled to add a third hole for a sight mount.
