This is a standard receiver from a 1950 Model 70 rifle, stamped with the serial number 164296.
Bluing - 90% - The bluing on this receiver shows some notable signs of wear. There are very light scratches in the bluing throughout the piece, as well as some spots of rubbing where the bluing has begun to wear.
Metal - Overall, the metal of this receiver is in very good condition. There is an area of freckling underneath the serial number stamp which shows some minor pitting. There are no scratches, nicks, or other significant marks of metal damage.
No holes or modifications have been added to the piece.
