Pre-war Model 70 safety lever in very good to excellent condition. An original Winchester part.
Type-I-1 levers we’re used on rifles with serial numbers 1 thru around 3600 (mostly 1936 rifles). Specifically, this lever is designed for the early safety sleeves which do not have a retaining pin for the safety lever.
Type-I-2 levers were used on rifles with serial numbers from around 3600 thru 66350 (1937 thru 1944 rifles). Specifically, this lever is designed for the pre-war safety sleeves which do have a retaining pin for the safety lever.
