This is the escutcheon (nut) on the underside of the standard barrel. It is an original Winchester part.
Excellent condition escutcheons are either new-old-stock, or are used with very minor or no tool marks.
Very Good condition escutcheons are used with perfect threads, but may have light damage from installation of removal, but remain entirely usable. They have no rust or other damage.
