This is a standard steel trigger guard from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. It is marked with a triangle-dash proof mark on the side, identifying it as a pre-war part (manufactured before 1948)
Bluing - 90%- The finish on this piece appears original in amazingly good condition. While the bluing does have some minor fading, it is consistent across the piece and has no notable scratches, edgewear, freckling or other cosmetic flaws. There are a few tiny tool marks on the bottom edge.
Metal - The metal remains in excellent condition with no notable damage.
