This is a standard steel trigger guard from a Winchester Model 70 rifle.
Bluing - 95% - The original bluing is in excellent condition with no major scratches, scuffs, freckling or other cosmetic blemishes. There is very slight fading and a few pin-prick-sized tool marks. Otherwise, the piece is in nearly perfect condition. This trigger guard wears the signature triangle-dash proof mark found on pre-war and transition parts.
Metal - The metal is in excellent condition with no damage except for some tiny tool marks around the screw holes.
