This is a standard steel trigger guard from a Winchester Model 70 rifle. It contains the triangle-dash mark of a pre-war or transition-era trigger guard.
Bluing - 98% - The original bluing is dark and even with no notable edgewear or loss of finish. There are a few tiny scratches and a small faded spot at the top of the bow. Otherwise, the finish remains dark, smooth, and unblemished.
Metal - The metal is in excellent condition with no notable damage.
