The 1A, 1B, and 1C sight elevators were used on occasion on model 70 rifles with a rear spring sight instead of the 3C. The elevators differ in the number and height of the notches. The 1A has 6 notches and the height of the highest notch was 0.210"; the 1B has 5 notches with a maximum height of 0.162"; the 1C also has 5 notches but a height of 0.176".
All elevators are in very good or excellent condition; some may have slight bluing edge wear.
